Tata Teleservices launches Photon TV on Broadband

Tata Teleservices Limited today announced the launch of Photon TV, a new application that allows Tata Photon Plus subscribers to watch live television channels on their personal computers and laptops. The service is exclusively available for Tata Photon Plus users. Movies, music and videos on demand will also be offered to the subscribers through this new service.

“Tata Teleservices Limited has always been a pioneer in terms of adding value to the mobile communications experience in India—we added value to the way people talk by introducing the Pay Per Use (TATA DOCOMO) and Pay Per Call (Tata Indicom) concepts in India; we also added value on the voice and data services side by introducing the Walky and Photon families of products. Now, we have moved mobility another few giant steps along the evolutionary path, with the launch of Photon TV today. This innovative product underlines the technological superiority of the Photon technology, which has become the rage amongst Internet-users,” said Mr Anil Sardana, Managing Director of Tata Teleservices Limited.

Photon TV Charges :
  • Single Channel : @ Rs. 4 per month.
  • My 10 : Combination of 10 channels @ Rs 29 per month.
  • My Full Pack : All channels @Rs75 per month.
These rates doesn’t include charges for special events like cricket matches etc.

Browsing charges as per your Photon+ tariff plan would be applicable while viewing Photon TV. These charges would be over and above the subscription charges for the Photon TV. (approximate data usage is 1-2MB per Min).

Mobile broadband "Tata Photon+" now available on Prepaid

After the successful launch of Tata Photon+ in the Postpaid segment, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) today announced the availability of Tata Photon+, the mobile broadband service, on the Prepaid platform also. Tata Photon+ mobile broadband service is 20 times faster than the existing mobile wireless technology and is offered on the congestion–free Tata Indicom network (as reported by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)).
